Emerging research re-examines ovarian cancer subtypes

Scientists are looking at changes within tumour DNA to better understand the biological processes behind how ovarian cancer grows. Early findings suggest that three of the most common forms of ovarian cancer can be further subdivided, providing a new set of targets that could impact treatment and guide development of new drugs.
