Cancer Survivor Day

June 06, 2010

Now in its 23rd year, National Cancer Survivors Day is celebrated annually on the first Sunday in June throughout Canada and the United States, as well as in several other countries. This year National Cancer Survivors Day will take place on Sunday, June 6th, to honour cancer survivors and their caregivers and healthcare providers as well as recognize that a full, active life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality. The annual event is a celebration of life and to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be meaningful and productive.
