Ovarian Cancer Canada’s brand colour is the colour of the year for 2010!

January 19, 2010

Pantone, a company that is the global authority on colour and provider of professional colour standards has announced that turquoise is the colour for 2010.

This is exciting news for Ovarian Cancer Canada as teal (a close match to turquoise) is the official colour of ovarian cancer. Pantone states that turquoise symbolizes deep compassion and healing, two things we hold close to our heart.

With turquoise being the colour of the year, this provides us with the perfect opportunity to continue to create awareness about ovarian cancer, the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers. Celebrate our colour throughout 2010 – wear it often, tell your friends and paint your town teal!
