Ovarian Cancer Canada’s Signature Events
Every year in September on the first Sunday after Labour Day, hundreds of volunteers and thousands of walkers in 14 cities across Canada participate in The Winners Walk of Hope to raise awareness, funds and support for ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is known as "the disease that whispers", but that all changes during one single day in September when Canadians from coast-to-coast come together to build a caring community to overcome this serious disease.
Caring individuals across the country also hold Mini Winners Walk of Hope to help spread awareness in their community and raise money for Ovarian Cancer Canada. Please visit Winners Walk of Hope for more information.
Now in its 8th year, Celebrate the Women in Our Lives is a fun, entertaining event designed to increase awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer among all women, while raising funds to support the mission of Ovarian Cancer Canada.
The Ladies Golf Classic is Ovarian Cancer Canada's annual golf tournament, presented by Ovarian Cancer Canada in partnership with WXN (Women's Executive Network). It is held in the greater Toronto Area. To view footage of past events, please click here.
